The Best Time of Year to Pressure Wash in the CSRA
April 9, 2026 · 4 min read · by Asher Clark

You can wash year-round here, but each season has an obvious right job. Here is the calendar we work by.
Late spring, after the pollen breaks
Washing during peak pollen is money spent twice — a yellow film returns within days. Once the heavy drop ends, usually late April into May, is the single best window for a full house wash and window cleaning.
It is also when winter algae growth is most visible on shaded walls and concrete, so results are dramatic.
Summer for flatwork and pool areas
Warm surfaces and fast drying make summer ideal for driveways, patios and pool decks. Cleaning solutions activate quickly in heat, and shaded concrete that has turned slick with algae becomes a real safety concern right when people are outside barefoot.
We start early on the hottest days so solutions do not flash-dry before rinsing.
Fall for gutters and roofs
After the leaves and pine straw finish dropping, gutters need clearing before winter rain. Fall is also comfortable working weather for roof soft washing, and a clean roof going into winter resists moss establishing in damp valleys.
Winter is not off-limits
CSRA winters are mild enough to work most weeks. We simply avoid freezing days and heavy rain. If you want a pre-listing wash or you are getting ahead of spring bookings, winter scheduling is usually the most flexible of the year.
