How We Protect Your Landscaping During Every Wash

Wetting down before and after is our signature standard. It is also the step that separates a careful contractor from a cheap one.

Why plants get damaged in the first place

Exterior cleaning solutions are effective because they break down organic material — and plants are organic. A dry plant absorbs whatever lands on it. A saturated plant cannot take on much more, so anything that drifts onto it is diluted immediately and largely runs off.

Most landscaping damage from pressure washing is not caused by the chemistry being too strong. It is caused by nobody watering first.

Our two-step standard

Before any solution is applied, we saturate every surface being cleaned and every bed, shrub, lawn area and planter around it with clean water. Then we clean. Then, before we pack up, we water all of it a second time to flush anything that settled during the job.

It adds time to every appointment. We do it on every appointment anyway, on the smallest patio and the largest roof alike.

What else we do on site

We cover exterior outlets and light fixtures, relocate potted plants and furniture, close windows and check screens, and route rinse water away from ponds and pool water. If something on the property is delicate — a new planting, an heirloom camellia — tell us when we walk the property and we will plan around it.
