House Washing / Soft Washing
Low pressure, high result — safe for siding, brick and stucco.
House washing should never be done with high pressure. Forcing water at a wall drives moisture behind siding, blows out window seals and leaves permanent wand marks. Soft washing does the opposite: a low-pressure application of a cleaning solution does the work, dwells briefly, and then rinses away with the growth it killed.
That is why the green film, the black speckling and the dull grey haze come off vinyl, Hardie board, brick and stucco all the way down to the original color — and stay gone longer, because soft washing kills the organism instead of just knocking off the visible top layer.

Our process

Inspect siding type, paint condition, penetrations and any existing damage.

Wet down all landscaping, beds and grass surrounding the work area.

Apply the soft wash solution from the bottom up at low pressure.
- 4
Allow a controlled dwell time, agitate detail areas by hand where needed.
- 5
Rinse the house top-down and rinse all landscaping again before we leave.
House Washing FAQs
Is soft washing safe for painted surfaces?
Yes. Because the pressure is roughly that of a garden hose, sound paint is not disturbed. We inspect for peeling or failing paint before starting.
How long do results last?
Most CSRA homes stay clean for one to two years after a soft wash, depending on tree cover and how much shade the wall gets.
Do you clean windows during a house wash?
Exterior glass is rinsed as part of the wash. For spot-free, hand-detailed glass, add our window cleaning service.
